March 28, 2020:  Imperative Head-On, 2 vs 3 -

Imperatives moment: I saw a petition to the NHS in Britain, asking them to allow women in labor to have one person there with them, one person they love, just one. Despite all the quarantine and curve-flattening measures.

You are free to have your opinion about this, but here's mine: It's a 3 versus 2 issue. 3 = Take care of the vulnerable, and women in labor are darn vulnerable. 2 = Flatten the curve. I can't imagine having no loved-one support while in labor. I sounded off about this, but now, faced by kindly nursing friends, I am going to instead moan softly in sadness. It's 2 versus 3.
