I was longing for a drive, for a chance to look at some scenery. It wasn't a great day for it, but it wasn't a downpour. We made sandwiches and didn't stop except once, for gas, in Hood River.
Report: more traffic than expected, very few masks outside of town.
Actually, two masks, total, outside of town, at the gas station. The orchards outside of Hood River are looking leafy and green-gold. There's still some very old snow on Mt. Hood.
How long (time-wise, not mileage) was the drive?
ReplyDeleteThree and a half, maybe four hours.
