July 16, 2020 - Guest Rendition, Anthony McGill, Ella Fitzgerald

This minute and 32 seconds has haunted me for days.  Anthony McGill is Principal Clarinet for the New York Philharmonic. And the change from major to minor, when he gets to "America, America...," somehow brings me into focus for every note following. 

And then from there, I'm off to Ella Fitzgerald singing Cole Porter: "Ain't no love song finer, but how strange, the change from major to minor ... ev'ry time we say goodbye."
